Offersøykammen is a small peak on the western edge of Vestvågøya, reaching 430 meters high. The views from the summit are truly fantastic 360 degrees around. This composition is pointing to the mountains and beaches of Flakstadøya. A beautiful start of another day in the Lofoten islands.

Between May and September it’s possible to see, during the new moon nights, the Milky Way. One day in June, I headed to the area of Plemmirio, in my cousin’s company, to be able to see such spectacle in the night.
We arrived in the afternoon and scoured the area to find something perfect to achieve the the night compositions. After a while, we found a wonderful arch that rose out in the blue sea.
We waited the rising of the milky way to admire the magical night sky.
