The Pacific Ocean has quietly deposited this twisted, gnarled, old piece of driftwood on a beach that I frequent. The winter storms are now history and this fascinating piece of wood will apparently be around for awhile. When the tide is just right, it is a peaceful place to sit and just enjoy the evening.
