Iceland, Mid-West

Little River Falls as seen from the west side rim at high water in the spring.

The first light of a cold winter day lights up the valley and makes the underside of Mesa Arch glow deep reds.

When the weather is better this place is jammed with photographers, but on this frigid morning I had the place to myself.

Large format prints of this image and many others are available at my website at www.ajkessler.com
