Hey!
Today on the Sunshine Coast in Australia we were treated to an absolutely INSANE Sunset.
We had a nice Mackeral sky and it lit up like a fire in the sky after sunset.
I was running around like a mad man trying to find a suitable composition for this insane display mother nature put on for us.

Marshall Point Starry Night by edwardreese

This a view of the night sky from behind the Marshall Point lighthouse in Maine.

It’s a three shot panorama from left to right, with a blending of exposures to keep the brightness of the head light from blowing out the milky way.

Have to say this is the most challenging type of photography I’ve gotten into so far. Have to be really careful of light sources and noise processing.

Still have a lot to learn.
