I often find myself getting lost in these creative work flows. I have always believed it to be important to share the connection we had with a scene to our viewers. At the time I shot this I was driving back and forth from Bandon Beach to a few other locations further north along the coast. I was chasing the edge of the day light as well as stars. When I had arrived back in Bandon for my second time this night I noticed the insane amount of fog and mist from the ocean had rolled in. I knew exactly how I wanted to execute this shot and use the light pollution to my advantage. Unfortunately the stars became hidden quickly by the clouds, I managed to capture some stars near Bandon later on this night and decided to merge those with the exposure I had taken up along these stairs.
