I had a very warm reception on my last post, and was overwhelmed with its feedback – i will try to answer everyone! A big thank you to all… I am posting this one from the same series, before getting back with some new, drier stuff.
Cheers from Porto and see you all (and your great photos which i’m missing…!) very soon!

A bonsai like tree somehow survives the harsh desert environment. It amazes me to see some trees and bushes literally growing on rocks, with minimal soil and water to survive.
Shot in a cold overcast late November, with a 24mm at f1.4, so the blur is straight out of the camera. Only if I could afford that lens… thanks for stopping by!

With a great idea of my friend we visited this waterfall in the evening. The road was closed down by Jeeps, but we were the last ones getting a glimp of the waterfall before the roads closed till the other day. Happily I got this shot before we moved to the next hotel!
For this shot we moved to the other side of the waterfall to get a greater angle. With the use of my LEE Little stopper i managed to smoothen out the water with a shutter speed of 15 second. Editing exclusively in Lightroom.

even with chest high waders, could not go in closer or even pull some ice closer to the shore… too much of a risk this time.
