I found this tree, bathing in sunlight, deep down in the forest.

Now this is Finnish nature at its finest! Taken from the cliffs of Porkkalanniemi a few days ago. This was a particularly difficult shot to edit as the light was so intense and I wanted to keep that atmosphere without clipping any highlights. So I used all the tricks in the book to avoid flare and preserve the feel of a strong direct sun. And the fact that this is a three shot panorama didn’t make things any easier. But I think it came out together quite nicely. Let me know your thoughts!

Sunset in to blue hour at Chemical Beach, Seaham. A calm and serene night on the rocks.

This is the view of the bedroom of millionaire Michael Hill, from the house of his golf course. I waited for the sunset and shot this in bracketing and retouched it in Aurora HDR:(click here to get it)

Can you imagine waking up to this view every morning, that must be something, I love the outdoor it makes me happy 🙂

This is one of my favorite photo from Queenstown’s
