Sky Road by gnbphotos by gnbphotos

I took this photo during my last road trip last friday in the north of Taiwan. We came here as the weather predictions were optimistic, but as it is up in the mountain, weather changes dramatically in a very short period of time. We had fog for almost one hour, but we were optimistic, we stood there and waited for the right moment, the right light. The sunset was approaching and the fog was getting less dense. For 5 minutes, we could have this view of the road with a bit of fog at the end of it, which in my opinion, it gives the photo a much more mysterious look, and together with the sunset, I ended up with this nice photo! Hope you enjoy it!

The Other Side by jasondodd by jasondodd

Been mega productive with processing photos lately. There was such a massive pile of digital raws, well over a terabyte, which I either hadn’t reviewed, or had dismissed during the initial viewing. But I’ve had a free week to go through that list and give some of the neglected shots another try.

This is Herringfleet Meet (which any photographer from east anglia is already familiar with). There was a shoot I did there last summer where I go drowned in torrential rain, and was ready to pack my gear and leave before bumping into another photographer. So rather than leave I stayed to have a chat with him, and before we knew it the clouds opened up and the now very low sun began illuminating all the storms around us.

I have already uploaded photos of this location before, but not from this angle. I have re-edited a few other photos from that evening which I will upload some point soon, but don’t worry, they are original and very different to all the other Herringfleet pictures I have. Its pathetic to see some users on here who just upload multiple pictures of the exact same composition over and over again, and have the popularity to get every one to the front page..
