The Moses Moment by tchebotarev

When travelling with such great guys like Iurie Belegurschi and Slava Mylnikov, you get to have a little fun while shooting landscapes. Here, Iurie poses as a Moses at Gullfoss, one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland. At least it shows you some scale of things in Iceland!

PS: It’s May 4th and there’s a bunch of snow outside and -2C. Welcome to Icelandic spring!

Rain Man by MilesMorganPhotography

Wait, what?? You mean you DIDN’T view this on black? Sinner.

After exhausting you with the last story, I’m just going to post this up here without all the theatrics.

Nothing groundbreaking here. Just a standard shot of Proxy Falls. Just felt like I needed a little more green in my life. The title is in honor of my friend Jeff, a non-photographer who went with me on this trip and reveled in the soaking we received. He and I have been having adventures together for 30 years.

For those of you that are doing the math in your heads right now and thinking “Man, he must be OLD”… suck it.

* drop mic. Walks off stage.

Winter’s Kiss by lijahwh

A few friends, my sisters, and I, all decided to do the hike up to this incredible waterfall in the Mt. Hood Wilderness. We hiked all the way up onto this cliffside adjacent to the waterfall, only to have a very difficult time getting down. It was fearfully fun as we slid down the icy slopes slowly getting down back to the base of the falls. It was an incredible day, and the icicles were perfect. The icicles on the left are roughly 40 feet tall…. Gods creation is pretty incredible!
