MCAS Tustin was a well kept Helicopter base in the 80’s and 90’s but now it is just an abandoned base with tract homes going up around it.
There are 2 hangers left on the property and my gut feeling is that they will be gone in a few years as well.
I wanted to get out and photograph these iconic structures before one day they were gone.
The shear size, wear and tear and a rainy day all made for an incredibly easy shoot and post processing.
